Pest Control Service Terms in Missouri
Last Updated: 10/26/2026
What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to General Pest Control work that Missouri Pest Solutions agrees to perform at the property identified in your service confirmation. Depending on the approved plan, work may include inspection, treatment of listed pest activity, and practical recommendations to reduce conditions that attract pests.
The written estimate or service record identifies the target pests, treatment areas, and any limits. Services not listed there including termite work, wildlife removal, structural repairs, and specialized treatments require a separate agreement.
All pesticide use must follow applicable product labels and law, including the Missouri Pesticide Use Act, Chapter 281 RSMo, Missouri applicator certification rules under 2 CSR 70-25, and FIFRA Section 12(a)(2)(G). Missouri pesticide business licensing requirements also apply.
Qualifying pesticide waste is handled under applicable RCRA rules. Where relevant, worker hazard communication is addressed under OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.
The Missouri Department of Agriculture, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, United States Environmental Protection Agency, OSHA, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention publish applicable guidance. These terms do not replace legal requirements.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Missouri Pest Solutions. A visit is scheduled once the company confirms the date or service window.
Please provide timely notice if you need to cancel or reschedule; any applicable cancellation charge or notice period will be stated in your estimate, service plan, or confirmation before it applies. If no such term is stated, contact the company as soon as possible so the visit can be changed.
Make sure the technician can safely access the agreed service areas, and follow any preparation instructions provided for the visit. If the technician cannot enter the property or safely perform the agreed work, the company may need to reschedule.
A request to add pests, rooms, buildings, or treatment methods changes the scope the work included in the agreement and must be reviewed and approved before it is performed. The company will explain any added cost or scheduling effect and obtain your approval.
Weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances may also require a new appointment; the company will contact you to arrange one.
Written Estimates and Charges
An estimate describes the work proposed, the property or areas covered, and the quoted charge or method for calculating it. It is based on the information available when prepared and may need revision if inspection reveals different pest activity, access conditions, or requested work.
Missouri Pest Solutions will explain a proposed change and obtain your approval before performing work outside the agreed scope. Ask questions before accepting if any item or charge is unclear.
Payment is due as stated in the estimate, service confirmation, or written service plan. If those documents do not state a due date, ask the company before work begins.
Applicable taxes or other disclosed charges will be shown with the estimate or invoice. No particular price, discount, financing plan, or payment method is promised by these terms.
You are responsible for paying approved charges on time. If you dispute an invoice, contact the company promptly and identify the item in question; undisputed charges remain subject to the agreed payment terms. A change to the price or scope is not effective unless accepted by both parties.
What to Expect About Service Guarantees
Missouri Pest Solutions will perform the work described in your accepted estimate or service plan with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable pesticide labels and laws. These terms do not create a separate workmanship warranty, promise a particular duration of pest control, or guarantee that pests will never return. Any written warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service guarantee applies only if it is expressly provided in your accepted service documents; those documents control its duration, coverage, and conditions.
Coverage may depend on following treatment instructions, providing access for agreed work, and addressing conditions identified by the technician. A written guarantee may exclude untreated areas, pests outside the agreed scope, or conditions beyond the company’s control, but only as stated in that guarantee.
Contact the company if you believe service did not match the written agreement so it can review the record and discuss next steps. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Do not rely on an oral statement to change written warranty terms; request any promised coverage in writing before approving service.
Daniel Harper
Service Expert at Missouri Pest Solutions
I built my pest-control trade in the St. Louis area, where older brick homes, basements, and changing seasons bring different pest problems through the year. I started this company to give Missouri homeowners clear inspections and practical treatment plans, while keeping current with the state licensing requirements for pesticide work.
Responsibility for Property and Service Risks
To the extent permitted by law, Missouri Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim. The company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed defects, ongoing pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or conditions that were not caused by its work. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, including for liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
The company will use pesticides only as allowed by applicable labels and law. The Missouri Pesticide Use Act, Chapter 281 RSMo, applicator certification rules under 2 CSR 70-25, and FIFRA Section 12(a)(2)(G) govern relevant pesticide practices; Missouri pesticide business licensing requirements also apply.
Qualifying pesticide waste is subject to applicable RCRA rules. These legal duties are not waived by this agreement.
Customers should follow written safety directions and report concerns promptly. Nothing here suggests that OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, replaces pesticide-label requirements or expands either party’s legal duties.
Questions, Notices, and Updated Terms
For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Missouri Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@missouripestsolutions.top. Written correspondence may be sent to One Metropolitan Square, 211 N Broadway, St.
Louis, MO. Include your name, service address, and appointment or invoice details so the company can identify the matter.
Contact the company promptly if you believe a service record or charge does not match what you approved.
The company may revise these terms for future services. Updated terms will be posted or otherwise provided to customers before they apply, and the effective date will be identified when practical.
Changes do not retroactively alter work already completed or an existing agreement unless both parties agree or the law requires otherwise. Your acceptance of a later estimate or service plan confirms the terms provided for that service.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
